This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from glueassociates.hk (the “Site”). GLUE Associates is based in Hong Kong and handles personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Log files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date/time stamps.

When you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers and, where used, digital wallet and other payment methods offered at checkout), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.
How we use your personal information
We use the Order Information we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment, arranging shipping, and providing you with invoices and order confirmations. We also use this Order Information to:

Where you have chosen to receive them, send you information or marketing about our products.

We share your Personal Information with third parties who help us provide our services. We also share Personal Information with the shipping carriers who deliver your order, and with payment providers who process your payment. We do not sell your Personal Information.
Finally, we may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to request a copy of that data, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
If you are a European resident, you additionally have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. We process your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example, if you place an order), or otherwise to pursue the legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information may be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada, the United States and Hong Kong.
Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it. We may need to retain certain records for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting rules.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices, or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
